Emily, along with her
little brother Navin and their mom, moves to Norlen after the death of her
father in a car accident. A car accident that she and her mother survived. In
the house of her great-grandfather, Emily finds something extraordinary and now
her life has been turned upside down yet again. She may have survived the car
accident, but she may not survive what awaits her underneath the house.
This is an ok story.
Starting right off with a parents death is very Disney-like though. Anyway, it’s
a whole lot of fantasy, but I was only slightly engaged with the story. I do
love the artwork. However, I’m not interested enough in story or art to
continue the series.
