Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: This past week was so much better than last week concerning the issue I don't want to discuss at the moment, but then Kyleigh got nearly everyone sick with her cold. Colds I can handle. The other issue had me beside myself with worry. A sickening soul crushing worry. But I'm cautiously hopeful now.
Touching Nature: It's been fairly warm here for this time of year and we had a thunderstorm. Good for our electric bill. Bad for those damn sleds I bought. We're never going to get snow. And we have firewood to burn that's just sitting there.
Book News: I'm staying ahead of the game and that's all I can ask at the moment. Except for commenting and visiting. It's just too much for me right now. I do appreciate everyone who has stopped by the blog. I love you guys!! No, I am not drunk.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Nope. Nothing this week.
At the Flicks: Nothing yet though Trip said he'd like to see the The LEGO Batman Movie. I wouldn't mind seeing that. Maybe next weekend.
Cyberspace Playground: Nada
Randomness: That hot chocolate is beautiful. And now I want one.
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: When life throws you lemons it's usually when you have a cut, or several, on your hands so when you make lemonade, it hurts. Make it anyway. Because lemonade is tasty. Sometimes you have to work through the pain to get to the good stuff.

Don't faint, but...
I got nothing this week.
**HUG** I felt like you needed one and no I am not drunk either! ;)
ReplyDeleteWell ship those sleds to me because I want it to stop snowing. It's suppose to snow again and I don't even know what the hell it's doing today. It's like confused. It was 60 on Thursday and then snowed 8 inches the next day. I might be over this weather!
I hope you have an awesome week, Carol! Happy Reading! ox
Ughh...I hate getting colds myself. I'm glad your daughter is doing well though! I really want to watch the Lego Batman movie myself! I've been hearing a lot of good things about the movie!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!

Oh, I can't help wonder what the thing that cannot be named thing is? Upset stomach, nits?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I hope things are improving!
Sorry to hear about the colds, snot, and the soul crushing worry! Hang in there. Things have got to improve, right?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear your new sleds are doing their job of keeping the snow away, but winter isn't over yet. Good luck and happy reading.
I hope things are getting better on the home front over there. *hugs* You sure must have jinks things buying those sleds but there is still a bit of winter left and with mother nature you just never know. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week and happy reading!

Soul crushing worry? Sadness! I hope that it is in the rear view.
