--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: I've been completely off my game, but I think I'm getting back to a more even keel. It helped to have 2 days this week of grandbaby time. :)

Touching Nature:  Dear Mother Nature: Make up your fucking mind! The end.

Book News: I'm behind on so many things. This past week has just been...stressful. But I'm starting to bounce back. I hope. :) I'm 9 books behind on my Goodreads Challenge, but there's still a lot of 2016 left.

Don't Touch That Dial!: We've been dealing with the new stress by binging on our Supernatural rewatch. Halfway through Season 7 now. No, Bobby! Nooooooooo!!! :( My friend Molly recommended Forks Over Knives for healthy eating so I'll be looking into that.

At the Flicks: Nada

Cyberspace Playground: The only thing I looked up on YouTube was this music video. Enjoy. LOL
M-Pop Muzik

Randomness: This was yesterday...

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. nah.. what if you are 9 books behind on your Goodreads Challenge? I bet nothing can beat grandbaby time. :)

hahahahahaha "Dear Mother Nature: Make up your fucking mind! The end." couldn't agree more! We had a blizzard last week W..T..H!!!

  2. Would it be Mother Nature or the Weather Gods? Or are they the same person? Whoever is in charge really needs to get their shit together because I can't take this anymore. It's FREEZING today!

I love the idea of The Diabetes Comfort Food Cookbook, I love comfort food. I can't live without comfort food...it's comforting ;)

Have a great week, Carol! Happy Reading!

  3. You’ll catch up before you know it! And if you don’t well.. to bad. If I learned anything the last view months it’s that reading and blogging should be fun and not stressful.

It looks like you found some great cooking books. Great job. I’m really curious how the receipes will work out for you.
Have a great week and happy reading!;)

  5. You'll get caught up on your Goodreads Challenge. I wouldn't be doing very well on my challenge if it weren't for audiobooks. I'm not getting much reading done. I just can't concentrate on the pages. Good luck with the healthier cooking. I should really do more healthier cooking. Hope you have a great week.

  6. The flapping tities in the wind made me giggle. Yes Mother Nature is mental. I do hope things get better and some of the stress is alleviated. Spending time with grandbabies put thing into perspective. I miss Bobby. Hope this week is a good one for you and yours!

  7. There is nothing like that sweet grandbaby time...

When my first grandbaby was born (almost 21 years ago!), I had to travel 4 hours to see him! Now he is away at university, but I do see him regularly on FB, so that's something, right?

Enjoy your week...and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  8. You can catch up on the goodreads goal! 9 books at this time of year isn't unfixable. 9 books in November and you have a problem! I'm sure the grandbaby time is much better than making the goal no matter what! I'm watching Supernatural too! I'm only in Season 2 though but I'm really enjoying it. Have a great week!

  9. The grandbaby time sounds lovely... but sorry that you're behind and feeling stressed.

I've been a bit all over the place for the last month or two but hopefully am getting that under control.

  10. Grandbaby time is so precious so you have a good reason for being behind on your goal. But you have a lot of time to get caught up! I have to get caught up on Supernatural. I hope you have a great week!
