--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: At the time of this drafting, no grandbaby Boone yet. The anticipation is killing me! :D

Touching Nature: Not much to report. It hasn't been excessively warm or cold, but we did get a few days of gusty winds and Weds it poured like Niagra Falls. Now the driveway is fucked up again. *sigh* One of these days we'll get the tractor running again and hubby will be able to scrape the drive back into shape.

Book News: I've been a bad blogging friend these last couple weeks by not visiting and not getting around to replying to comments. But I promise to catch up. It's just I'm so distracted waiting for grandbaby Boone to arrive. I can't seem to settle down to review writing, post drafting or anything. *bounces in chair* I really must concentrate today though. I have 5 reviews to write, so if I can at least get those done I'll be happy.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Hubby & I managed quite a few episodes of Buffy and Angel. We now have only 2 episodes left of Buffy and 2 episodes of season 4 of Angel. Then we'll only have season 5 of Angel to watch before moving on to something else. Most likely NCIS.

At the Flicks: We saw Deadpool last Sunday and it was hilarious! I will also state, for the record, that it fully deserves it's R-rating. Wowzers! Not for children, people! Double Wowzers.

Cyberspace Playground: I spent way too much time on YouTube looking for videos in my favorites and liked. Because I have no lists! None! And I have like 730 total. I need to get some lists done. Seriously.

Randomness: Kyleigh is 2!

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. I hope Baby Boone doesn't keep you waiting too long!

Glad you've been able to watch some Buffy and Angel though! And I can completely relate to the lack of blog visiting.

I skipped the Sunday Post last weekend as I was away with friends and then had busy weeks at work either side so didn't do much visiting either!

  2. We had high winds too for a couple of days, knocking shit over. :) Plus snow... although it then melted some when the sun came out. Tired of this weather... ready for spring. I heard that movie was good but definitely not for kids... R rating, people. R rating.

Hope you have a good week. :)

  5. I hope Baby Boone will decide to arrive just after you finish your five reviews ;) It's really hard in the end of a pregnancy, right? All you want is to finally meet your baby and hold him or her in your arms :)
Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

  6. I think Baby Boone is a good reasons for not being as on top of commenting as you want to be! Especially as we all go through phases like that anyway!

Have a great week and happy reading!

  7. I have been a bad blog visitor lately...I'm noticing you have a new look here. I think. I like it, though...

Hope Baby Boone comes soon, and Kyleigh is adorable!

On my Blu-Ray player, I have YouTube, but haven't explored it lately. Perhaps I shouldn't get started?

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  8. I hope that baby comes soon!!! Kyleigh is such a cutie! I love the pictures you post of her.

I can get lost on Youtube for hours, my kids do also with all the gamers they watch.

I have been an AWFUL Blogger friend, I am in a slump and just can't seem to shake it. Hoping to get back into things soon, I miss visiting and blogging.

Have a great week, Carol! Happy Reading! ox

  9. I realized this morning as I sat down to pull up my Sunday Posts that I have slacked off so much on the visiting and commenting (due to exhaustion from work - I even forgot to turn in my grades two weeks ago!) that I'm playing catch up and not getting any reading done. Thanks in large part to my reading/life slump.

Youtube is like a black hole. Scratch that, the internet itself is a black hole you can get lost in. I hope Baby Boone hurries and makes the debut soon!

  10. I hope the baby will be there soon, I can imagine the anticipation is hard to deal with! It's been pretty cold here, especially at night the temperature goes down a lot. I hope you can find some concentration to write those reviews. Have a great week!
