--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: We had friends over for the Super Bowl and we enjoyed ourselves even though the Panthers choked on Denver's Big D and the commercials were shit. Other than that, my week was uneventful.

Touching Nature: It's been chilly for NC and tonight/tomorrow morning we're supposed to get some wintry stuff. As usual, the forecasters have no clue what it'll be (snow/freezing rain/sleet, your guess is as good as theirs) or how much. However, Tuesday we're supposed to pop back up to more normal temps for this time of year, 50s possibly into the 60s, and stay there for the foreseeable future. Woot!

Book News: Reading, writing reviews, drafting posts. The blog schedule for March is filling up fast. Trying to keep the momentum going. I'm the Little Reviewer Who Could!

Don't Touch That Dial!: Hubby and I managed a Buffy/Angel marathon and now we're in Season 7 of Buffy and 4 of Angel. Getting there! Now, if we could just get the Supernatural train amoving I would be very happy. In other news, my friend Molly has blown by our rewatch and is heading fast to where we stopped in our original watch which is season 9. The good news is she's hooked her son and stepdaughter and now she's watching from the beginning with them. It's like a pyramid scheme! And I get credit for her sales. :D

At the Flicks: Deadpool is out! Woot! Hoping we can go this coming weekend.

Cyberspace Playground: I was going to put my favorite Super Bowl commercial here, but none are worthy. Some were slighty amusing, but not enough for me to remember a week later. Pffft.

Randomness: Found this on FB and tagged my friend Peter. Wtf, Peter?! LOL

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  2. Here's it been chilly, but no snow. I hope you get some more normal temps soon. That's awesome your march schedule is filling up already, I still have to fill in a few spots for this month before I can start on next month. I don't read enough books to stay ahead a lot with reviews. I hope you'll have a great week!

  7. I didn't 'love' the last Mary Burton so have decided against requesting this one via NetGalley.

Glad you're enjoying Buffy and Angel and I'm keen to see Deadpool as well!
