AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!

Hard to believe that August is half over already! Wtf?

Home front: My heroes (Johnny's Plumbing) showed up a little after 2pm on Monday and less than 2 hrs later we had water. YAY! There is still a lot of silt and junk coming up, so we have to clean the first filter under the house quite often, but it seems to be getting better now. It's a pain in the ass, but at least we have water, so I will grumble about the constant loss of pressure (we lose pressure when the filters get clogged) quietly. My husband has worked all week (he typically only works 2 on, 2 off, etc), so A+ to my boys for going out to either run the water at the first filter or to take it off and clean it when I've needed to have it done. Other than that big news, I got nothing to report.

Touching Nature: I've mowed half the lawn and picked some tomatoes. I'm a lazy bitch.

Book News: I'm 32 books behind on my yearly Goodreads Challenge. I might have been able to knock that number down this week except I fell down a fanfic rabbit hole on Thursday and only surfaced today. I have 3 reviews to write and a ton of books to read. I had planned a MPM post for tomorrow, but *see fanfic rabbit hole above* it will be postponed again. On the plus side, for my very first fanfic read, it was very well-written. Probably why I had to keep reading everything she wrote. lol I will be doing a FanFic Friday post about it next month.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Nothing. I did mention the fanfic, right?

At the Flicks: Nope.

Cyberspace Playground: Buffy fanfic and then I had to watch YouTube clips and some of my favorite episodes. My ass is sore from being glued to my computer for days. So, my obsession surfaced once again. Shit. Just when I had gotten it under control. Also, BatDad. You're welcome.

  2. YAY! WATER! One day without water and I feel like I am going crazy, I don't know how you did it for so long.
My garden has seen better days. It's just to hot and I can't keep up with watering it. So I will just let it die out but still water it everyday hoping to get all the veggies to finish growing.
BatDad is funny but strange LOL

Enjoy all your new books, I can't look at them or I will want them.

Have a great week! YAY! WATER!!! :)

    1. Horror is still very new to me. I find it's hit or miss. I guess because I haven't really figured out what elements of horror I like over others. I'll get there though. :)
