AVR News Update
This past week has been all about preparing for back-to-school and trying to stay ahead of my review schedule. And I have to tell you, I'm stressed, grumpy and plain ol' burnt out. So my command decision is to take it easy this week, as you can tell by my upcoming schedule. I have some work to do for InD'tale Magazine, I need to finish up my Excel Review Lists and I'm hoping to get some reading done for the first week of September. However, I'm not going to worry about it. Any of it. Ok, well I won't worry much. I do have people waiting for reviews, but I have to take care of me first in order to be running at Optimal Reading Capacity. Victory shall be mine!

    Inhuman sounds interesting. I like seeing old school sci- fi reviews too, so the McCaffrey stuff is a treat to see.

      I have the last of that McCaffrey series on Tuesday then I'm starting her Catteni series. So stay tuned for more old school sci-fi/fantasy. :)

    I'm glad you've decided to try to ease off this week! You got some great books this week and I'm going to check some of your reviews from last week. I love Anne McCaffrey and haven't read her for awhile. And the Mole People book...I have to check that out!

      Me, too! :D NetGalley is just evil, but in a good way. ;) I love McCaffrey, too! I'm really enjoying rereading her books.

    My youngest brother has been back to school for a couple of weeks now, and MY mom is always stressed and grumpy during the back-to-school rush. Then again, it might because her kid is rather high maintenance, lol.

      Thankfully my kids aren't high maintenance, but this week has just been...ugh. So a week of *mostly* rest and recharging should do me a world of good. :)

    Netgalley....We have a love/hate relationship. LOL. I just visited them a few days ago. Just when I caught up I got WAY behind again! LOL
