News
Hmmm...news this week appears to be on the scarce side. I had some internet issues with that asshat company AT&T, but that happens several times a year when my internet will go out for no discernible reason and they can't find the problem. Saying that it's only mildly annoying is like saying reality tv stars should automatically be allowed into Mensa. Yeah. Far-fetched, to say the least.
In other news, I went over to Word Press and claimed my name for a possible future move. You know, just in case. I haven't done anything there except put up my avatar. It's too confusing for me at this point, but I'm sure I'll poke around once in awhile just to see what's what. Hopefully, my curious poking will arouse a buff naked man and not a surly fanged beast.

Books of Love
Hi Grace. I'm going to be adding Bloglovin' this week. It's been on my To Do List, but I just haven't gotten to it yet. Thanks for stopping and I should definitely have it up by next Sunday's Post. :)
DeleteOMG I've been waiting for you to review Named and Shamed forever! The cover looks amazing. Dead Sexy Dragon is a book I received from netgalley, too. I'm excited about it. Carol, are you a brony? :O
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to finish it for ages! I couldn't seem to get it worked into my schedule where I wanted it! But I've finished it now. O.O *thud* How can I be a brony when I'm female? My sons are though. LOL
DeleteLOL that's true... I never could get into that show... I'm more of an Adventure Time fan!
DeleteI never got into it myself. They love AT also, but I like Spongebob. LOL
DeleteOh my god, I'm a huge fan of old school spongebob, not the new stuff, :D
DeleteLooks like a nice week coming up. AT&T LOL. Hope this week is better. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Greg. Yeah, I have this hate-hate relationship with AT&T, but my internet options are limited due to location and finances. lol
DeleteEep, I hope your internet provider doesn't poop out this week as well! That's annoying! And Wordpress is awesome! I can help you look for good introduction tutorials to it if you want :) I've been using it since 2002 and they've just been adding more and more features.
ReplyDeleteWe got Dead Sexy Dragon as well! Can't wait to read your review to compare reactions :)
Have an awesome week!
Eirene @ SNRR
Me, too! But I'm not holding my breath. They are really horrible.
DeleteIt took me forever to figure out Blogger, so tutorials would be awesome. Thanks! I'm in no big rush at the moment though.
I'm trying to read Dead Sexy Dragon this week, but it may be next week before I can get to it. :)
Thanks and you, too!
Ooh, I just picked up Miraculous on Smashwords so thanks!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome haul. I really need to read Frater's Pretty When She Dies series. I've only read Pretty When They Collide at the request of Rhiannon for a review and loved it so I need to get started with the first book.
Have a great week! I hope your internet issues are over.
Toni @ My Book Addiction
You're welcome and thanks.
DeleteThanks, you, too. And I'm sure they aren't. It's the nature of the AT&T beast.
I loved Pretty When She Dies, and are you thinking self-hosted on WP? I really am loving it, once you figure things out it is simpler than blogger and has so many cool things you can do. The Sunday Post
ReplyDeleteIt's a thought. I may. I'll know better by September what I'm doing. lol
DeleteLOL about the kindle freebies - I definitely went a bit overboard myself. Have fun poking around on WordPress - I just heard that Ashley (NoseGraze) will let you play around with a demo of her Tweak Me theme - which is what I ended up buying after making a big mistake on my first purchase (didn't know about Tweak Me before) so I'd contact her and ask - she's been wonderful for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and have a great week! :-)
Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun
I go overboard every.single.day. O.O LOL Playing with a demo sounds like a great idea. I'll have to check it out. Thanks!
DeleteYou're welcome and thanks for the return visit. :)
Look at those covers. I love Kindle freebies and tend to go book crazy! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Sunday Post
While covers don't sway my decision in reading a book, I did manage to grab some yummies this week. ;)
DeleteThanks and you, too!
Sweet haul and update! :) Happy reading!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) Have a great week!
DeleteNice additions to your shelves. :) And hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIf you'd like to stop by, I have a Sunday Post up as well...

Thanks and you, too! :)
DeleteEnjoy the new books you got. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteJenea @ Books Live Forever's Sunday Post
Thanks! Have a great week!
DeleteWe have the same issue with AT&T. We had U-Verse with the internet package, and the freaking tv would go out every month like clockwork and they never knew why. We've had 4 modems. -_- So we dropped the tv and kept the internet.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your new books!
We had several modem and router changes early this year. Completely exasperating! Truthfully, I think it's all on AT&T's end, no matter how hard they try to tell me everything looks good on the line. There's a problem somewhere down the line for it to be sporadic the way it is sometimes. It is *not* the damn modem.
DeleteI hope so, too! :)
Hope your Internet issues are solved quickly - sometimes I think we are too reliant on technology.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to 5th Grave but need to read 4th first.
Happy reading!
They'll never be solved as long as I'm stuck with AT&T, but it is what it is. I rely completely on the internet for so many things. I'm kinda lost without it.
DeleteI wish I could save Charley's books and read them all at once, but I never manage to hold out. lol
Thanks and you, too!
I moved from Blogger to Wordpress earlier this year and it went very well. I really like Wordpress.
ReplyDeleteI need to catch up on the Darynda Jones series. I'm several books behind in this series. Just not enough time to read all the books I want to.
I just hate change, so I'm being curmudgeonly. lol
DeleteI know *exactly* what you mean! There will never be enough time to read all the shiny books.
Lovely haul! I tried out Ashlyn Macnamara's first novel and unfortunately we didn't get a long too well, but I'm hoping her second is suit me more haha.
ReplyDeleteI feel like the internet is always a love-hate relationship. I have that problem sometimes too (not w/ At&T but a Canadian company) :| Good luck with your (potential) move! Thanks for stopping by Bookmunchies (:
All of my additions are new-to-me authors except Jax, so I'm hoping I like them.
DeleteYou're welcome and thanks for stopping by. :)
Well, well, well... will you look at those hotties from Netgalley;) hahaha enjoy your haul!!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I swear I didn't plan it that way. Really! ;)
DeleteThanks and thanks for stopping by!
I love that you have too many Amazon freebies to list!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading.
Sarah
It's quite embarrassing. I have quite the Freebie Hoarding Habit.
DeleteThanks for stopping by! :)
I'd be scared of overspending with the new Kobo but it won't accept my debit card so I'll only be able to get freebies *sigh*
ReplyDeleteOh, don't despair! There are *tons* of good freebies out there. Um, *twiddles thumbs* not that I hoard them or anything.
