News
Hmmm...news this week appears to be on the scarce side. I had some internet issues with that asshat company AT&T, but that happens several times a year when my internet will go out for no discernible reason and they can't find the problem. Saying that it's only mildly annoying is like saying reality tv stars should automatically be allowed into Mensa. Yeah. Far-fetched, to say the least.

In other news, I went over to Word Press and claimed my name for a possible future move. You know, just in case. I haven't done anything there except put up my avatar. It's too confusing for me at this point, but I'm sure I'll poke around once in awhile just to see what's what. Hopefully, my curious poking will arouse a buff naked man and not a surly fanged beast.

    1. Hi Grace. I'm going to be adding Bloglovin' this week. It's been on my To Do List, but I just haven't gotten to it yet. Thanks for stopping and I should definitely have it up by next Sunday's Post. :)

    1. Thanks, Greg. Yeah, I have this hate-hate relationship with AT&T, but my internet options are limited due to location and finances. lol

  4. Eep, I hope your internet provider doesn't poop out this week as well! That's annoying! And Wordpress is awesome! I can help you look for good introduction tutorials to it if you want :) I've been using it since 2002 and they've just been adding more and more features.

We got Dead Sexy Dragon as well! Can't wait to read your review to compare reactions :)

    Have an awesome week!

    1. Me, too! But I'm not holding my breath. They are really horrible.

It took me forever to figure out Blogger, so tutorials would be awesome. Thanks! I'm in no big rush at the moment though.

I'm trying to read Dead Sexy Dragon this week, but it may be next week before I can get to it. :)

      Thanks and you, too!

  5. Ooh, I just picked up Miraculous on Smashwords so thanks!!

Awesome haul. I really need to read Frater's Pretty When She Dies series. I've only read Pretty When They Collide at the request of Rhiannon for a review and loved it so I need to get started with the first book.

Have a great week! I hope your internet issues are over.

Thanks, you, too. And I'm sure they aren't. It's the nature of the AT&T beast.

  6. I loved Pretty When She Dies, and are you thinking self-hosted on WP? I really am loving it, once you figure things out it is simpler than blogger and has so many cool things you can do. The Sunday Post

  7. LOL about the kindle freebies - I definitely went a bit overboard myself. Have fun poking around on WordPress - I just heard that Ashley (NoseGraze) will let you play around with a demo of her Tweak Me theme - which is what I ended up buying after making a big mistake on my first purchase (didn't know about Tweak Me before) so I'd contact her and ask - she's been wonderful for me!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! :-)

  11. We have the same issue with AT&T. We had U-Verse with the internet package, and the freaking tv would go out every month like clockwork and they never knew why. We've had 4 modems. -_- So we dropped the tv and kept the internet.
I hope you enjoy your new books!

    1. We had several modem and router changes early this year. Completely exasperating! Truthfully, I think it's all on AT&T's end, no matter how hard they try to tell me everything looks good on the line. There's a problem somewhere down the line for it to be sporadic the way it is sometimes. It is *not* the damn modem.

      I hope so, too! :)

  12. Hope your Internet issues are solved quickly - sometimes I think we are too reliant on technology.

Looking forward to 5th Grave but need to read 4th first.

    Happy reading!

    1. They'll never be solved as long as I'm stuck with AT&T, but it is what it is. I rely completely on the internet for so many things. I'm kinda lost without it.

I wish I could save Charley's books and read them all at once, but I never manage to hold out. lol

      Thanks and you, too!

  13. I moved from Blogger to Wordpress earlier this year and it went very well. I really like Wordpress.

I need to catch up on the Darynda Jones series. I'm several books behind in this series. Just not enough time to read all the books I want to.

    1. I just hate change, so I'm being curmudgeonly. lol

I know *exactly* what you mean! There will never be enough time to read all the shiny books.

  14. Lovely haul! I tried out Ashlyn Macnamara's first novel and unfortunately we didn't get a long too well, but I'm hoping her second is suit me more haha.

I feel like the internet is always a love-hate relationship. I have that problem sometimes too (not w/ At&T but a Canadian company) :| Good luck with your (potential) move! Thanks for stopping by Bookmunchies (:
