News
With the kids home, we've settled back into a semi-routine that will shift yet again as we get closer to school starting. I received two email notifications for upcoming books sales, one a local sale this month by a gentleman who has more books than we do except he sells his(!) and the other is the Burlington Friends of the Library sale in September. Woot! What? You can never have too many books. I know you agree, so just nod vigorously. Oh! And I have ended up a few times this week in the online newspaper A Day in Fiction. If you haven't subscribed yet I recommend it. I've seen articles I would have missed if it didn't come to my email daily. And it's FREE. We all love free, right?

ReplyDeleteFifth Grave past the Light sounds interesting.
Enjoy your haul and happy reading :-)
BookishTrish @ Between the Lines
I love the header too! I like the whole color scheme and design. :)
DeleteThanks Trish and Bea. My teenage daughter and her friend did the design. I told them what I wanted and this is what I got. I'm quite happy with it. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
I'm not familiar with any of the books you got this week, but happy reading! And happy book sales! :)
ReplyDeleteSandy @ Somewhere Only We Know
My tastes are all over the place. lol Thanks! :)

DeleteLove Charley Davidson!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books and sales!
Charley is totally awesome!
DeleteThanks!
I've fallen behind in the Charley Davidson series, but I'm going to try to catch up! A Day in Fiction sounds interesting. I'm going to check that out. Have a great week and thanks for stopping my blog.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't mind when I fall behind in a series. Then I have many books in a row to read with no waiting. lol
DeleteThanks and thanks for stopping by.
Nice! Enjoy hte new additions. I have been trying to get my kids into a routine this week for school too. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteI have to get them more back into the school routine than they are at present. So far this week has been an epic fail. lol
DeleteThanks for stopping by! :)
Great haul of books! And I so agree about not having too many books. I went to the library book sale on Friday and bought 20. LOL I have no room on my shelves, but then, I guess I'll just buy another shelf. :D
ReplyDeleteHappy reading and have a great week!
More shelves are good! We went to the .99 book store when the kids were gone and came home with 40 books. And the book sales coming up mean even more. lol
DeleteThanks, you too!
I'm curious about The Woman Who Stopped Traffic....enjoy your week. And thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI thought it sounded interesting. We'll see. :)
DeleteThanks and you're welcome!

You're welcome and thanks for the return!
Fifth Grave sounds good, hope you enjoy
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm reading it now. I hated to put it down but household chores needed doing. *sigh*

ReplyDeleteI'm reading it now! Love, love, love Charley! If the internet cooperates, review should be up Thursday.
DeleteLibrary sales = Best. Thing. Ever. <3
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kimba, you have a good haul. I need to check some of them out. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't wait to get to them.
DeleteYou sure have been busy! Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI know! I need more hours in the day! lol
DeleteThanks and I hope you do, too! :)
Book sales are so dangerous! I work near a used book store and only allow myself to go in once a month. Just so hard not to stock up when they are so cheap.
ReplyDeleteThey are! Used book stores are, too. I admire your will power! :)
DeletePaige's series looks really good. :D And an awesome week here. :D Hope you have a great week this week and enjoy all your new reads. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to reading them. She's a new-to-me author.
DeleteThanks and you, too!
Isn't it great getting a ton of new books? And book sales- can't go wrong with those! Thank you for visiting and have a fantastic week!
ReplyDeleteIt is! Book sales are awesome! ;)
DeleteYou're welcome and you, too.
You have some great looking books there! And book sales! Yikes! That can be fun AND dangerous. LOL.
ReplyDeleteVery dangerous! Highly lethal. But oh so good! ;)
DeleteAwesome haul this week! Looks like you have some yummy reading in your future...
ReplyDeleteThanks and I'm looking forward to them. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
This is How You Die looks like a really interesting read haha. Great haul, enjoy your books! Thanks for stopping by Bookmunchies (:
ReplyDeleteI thought it looked humorous. lol And getting the email that I'd won a copy was like Christmas in July. :D
DeleteYou're welcome and thanks for the return visit.
I love library/Friends of the Library booksales. Our library has two huge ones a year, and I bring way too many books home each time. This year I'm trying to reverse the process at least somewhat -- prune some of the books we picked up when we were homeschooling high school. Got to make room for new ones, after all!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books, and thanks for stopping by today.
We're lucky enough to live at the edge of two counties, so we go to the bi-annual sales of both libraries. Sometimes we score big and sometimes it's a bust, but it's always fun to go. :)
DeleteYou're welcome and thanks for the return.
Summer break for kids here in Aus are heaps shorter, so I found out the other day.... 6 weeks usually! Hopefully your kids won't creep into your book time too much *winks* Enjoy your haul!
ReplyDeleteThanx for visiting my StS and Sunday Post!
Naomi @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace
6 weeks would be nice. I think the long summer breaks here in the US are bad for kids. They lose too much over the 12 or so weeks they are out.
DeleteYou're welcome and thanks for the return. :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Looks like you have a great week planned ahead of you!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Kacii @ The Kooky Bookworm
You're welcome! I'm hoping it'll stay on target, bu the internet is not cooperating. Grrr!
DeleteThanks and you, too!
Book sales are always interesting, cause you never know what you will find. I hope you have a good time at them. I also hope the summer with the kids goes well.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you've got a brilliant haul of books, so I hope you enjoy them.
It's always a thrill to discover a book I've been searching a long time for! I feel like dancing around yelling, 'Score!' LOL
DeleteThanks and thanks for stopping by!
Book sales are always a dangerous thing! We don't have very many around here so I don't get as tempted, but I guess that's good, lol. I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer with your kids!!
ReplyDeleteThey are! But fun! :)
DeleteThanks and thanks for stopping by! :)
Looks like you had a fabulous week and what a great haul! Have another amazing week :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's been pretty good. :)
DeleteThanks and you, too!
I know just what you mean about voraciousness! I read everything too. Thanks so much for stopping by my Sunday Post! I'm off to check out your review of Blood and Magick. I love the Deaconverse!
