Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front
Sunday ~ Finished up cleaning and laundry so I wouldn't have to do anything this coming week.
Monday ~ Kyle had a gastro app't at 8:00am. So, up at 6:30. Afterwards I took him to work then stopped at Panera bread for pre-birthday yummies. Did a few errands then home. Tried to read and fell asleep for awhile in my chair. Subway for dinner.
Tuesday ~ Happy St. Patrick's Day. 🍀 Anna has to work 10 hours but Kyle doesn't, so I'm up at 5:30 to take him to work. Puttered around until Meggie picked up stuff for her work food pantry then I showered and read for awhile. Domino's for dinner.
Wednesday ~ Up at 5:30 again, but went back to bed after returning home. Had to do some more errands, but did get some reading in afterwards.
Thursday ~ Happy Birthday to me. 🎂 I am officially 58. Up at 6:30 to take Kyle to hospital for colonoscopy. Had Trip walk the dogs. Home around 10:30. All is well. No cancer, just stubborn hemorrhoids and possible lactose intolerance. Will need to make an appt for him to have those taken care of though we're mystified the doc didn't just do it then. I mean, wtf? Anyway, stopped at Krispy Kreme because he was starving and wanted something sweet. I got my birthday donuts while there. I did not get my birthday breakfast at Waffle House. :( Read for most of the rest of the day. Picked up Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Anna picked up Bundtini's for my birthday instead of cake. I'm not a big fan of regular birthday cake. Anna and Trip went to Kyleigh's first soccer game. They won 7-0. Opened presents at 8:00pm before Kyle headed to bed.
Friday ~ Up at 5:30 to take Kyle to work. Back to bed when home. Up a bit late to do the usual morning chores pertaining to the furries. Read the rest of the day. Leftovers for lunch and dinner. Stayed up until 1:30am reading. Anna spent the night at Chris's since they both have to work tomorrow.
Saturday ~ Up a bit late. Since Anna had to work, I dropped Trip off at Kyleigh's 9am soccer game then went back to pick him up after feeding and walking the dogs. His turn to do the litterboxes so we did those, but I did not do any more cleaning than that. Fed my critters then showered and read until 5:30. Fed dogs, ordered Chinese food and picked that up after Trip was done walking the dogs. Anna came home with Chris. They started watching Lord of the Rings. Worked on this post.
Today I plan on reading, but I guess I'll get the laundry going. Supposed to be 90ºF today. Ugh.
My birthday week of Doing the Bare Minimum did not work out as planned. I'm disappointed. However, I did no cooking, no cleaning, and no laundry and I did manage to get some reading done. I also did not do any internetting on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. So I'll need to get caught up there, too. Maybe for my 60th birthday I'll just go on a cruise. 🤷
New Year's Resolutions/Goals
I thought I'd keep a weekly record of these so I can see if anything is getting done. 😆
More reading, less tv ~ Yes.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: louishowardpt tries out healthy recipes from videos so we don't have to waste ingredients trying them. He's funny, adorable, and a bit of a nerd. Go check him out.
That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.
