Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: Last Sunday I got the last mow of the season done. At least, I hope it's the last one. Then I saddled up my trusty sidekick, Backpack Blower, and we marched forth to beat back the Leafy Horde. Battle I of Leafageddon has been won!
Many appts this week kept me super busy every single day! We found out Tuesday that there are no more Qdobas near us. The horror! I guess we'll try out Chipotle now.
Yesterday Anna, Trip, and I went to the Red Cross to donate blood. It was Trip's first time and he did great. We'll finally get to see what his blood type is. I'm A+, his dad is AB+, Kyle is A+, and Anna is AB+. (side note: my oldest spawn is O+ because my ex is O+). I'm betting that Trip will be B+ because that's the way he rolls. LMAO Anyway, Anna was very upset that she didn't get to donate because both times they checked her pulse it was too high. She's going to try again another day. I was told to take it easy, but it was cleaning day, so I went ahead and did the stuff. And had to rest a couple of times because I broke out in a sweat and felt like crap. Oops. Not everything got done, but I did the bulk of it.
Today I will finish the cleaning. Then I want to rest and read. Tomorrow is Kyle's 24th birthday, so we'll get Texas Roadhouse for dinner today. That'll leave leftovers for tomorrow. He loves Texas Roadhouse, fresh and leftovers, so it's all good. Besides it was his idea. lol
Touching Nature: Been super nice out. Ok, a tad warm at 80º, but still nice. And dry for once! My heart goes out to Western NC, as well as TN, GA, FL, and SC. Holy shit did they get hit bad by Helene. Like, super, horrifyingly bad.
Book News: I have nothing to report here.

I hope it's my last mowing for the year also. It looks nice now. We don't have many leaves fallen yet. I chose 2 different ones for my Prime First reads. I hope to actually read them too!

LOL. I love that From The Library is Nope. I'm not sure why but my library has Hoopla and if I don't get up at 12:01 AM, I can't check anything out. It drives me crazy. Personally, I don't think you'll be disappointed with Chipotle. It's the best IMO.
