Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: "Is this really my life? Really? This? Every day until I die?"  ~ Robin Brannon - 'Suddenly Psychic' by Elizabeth Hunter
This quote is exactly how I feel about my life. I sometimes wonder about what it would be like to pack a bag and just...leave. Would anyone truly miss me or would they just be pissed they'd lost their indentured servant? Your guess is as good as mine. Anyway...

Trip's birthday was yesterday. 25 years old. I got all the cleaning done and did the laundry then made him a birthday dinner of pork chops (they were an inch thick wow!) and his favorite side dishes then he opened presents and had cake. He said he had a good day, so yay.

Today is Father's Day. I lost my dad nearly 6 years ago now. Time just marches on and on. I intend to work outside this morning until about lunchtime then I'm going to shower, relax, and read. We'll see if I actually get to read. It never seems to happen. There's always shit that needs done and everyone is just totally blind to it. I guess they think they live in a hotel. Whatever.

Touching Nature: Mowed on Friday and did some other stuff. It got hot later in the week, so it's sweaty working outside now. Like, soaked in sweat, sweaty.

Book News: Not much to report here. Still have a fuckton of reviews to write.

Don't Touch That Dial!:  Still rewatching The Mentalist and Supernatural.

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Wordle, Word Lots, Crossword Jam, Solitaire, jigsaw puzzles

Randomness:

  3. I think we all feel that way at times. I have projects I want to do but there's been too much repairs, medical appts, etc, along with the usual. I know I've got to get going on the BBNYA this week too. It's getting hot, but here the humidity hasn't been too bad.

  4. I feel that a lot too. :( Lately, days have been so repetitive and I haven't been feeling up to socializing and things. I hope we both feel much better soon. You're loved! <3
