Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: Busy, busy, busy. Christmas shopping, appt's, phone calls, blog stuff, and misc shit. I'm slowly unburying myself from my massive To Do List. Anna and I have 8 Hello Fresh meals in the fridge. We're so behind on those that I had to go pick up some fresh veggies for a few of them. So we need to really step it up. She's skipping this coming week's delivery because yeah. We're hip deep in them and I gotta admit, it's stressing me the fuck out.
I pulled all the Christmas crap presents together and I did really well this year! I only need 3 things (2 gift cards and a pair of jammie pants) and that's it. I'm still waiting on one item for Kyle and it's supposed to be here by the 23rd. We'll see. I'm hoping to start wrapping today, but it may have to wait until tomorrow. I need to do the cleaning I didn't do yesterday, but if I do an abbreviated hose down then maybe I'll start wrapping the grandkiddos stuff.
In other news, did anyone see the Kronos ransomware hit? Yeah, that affects hubby's and Kyle's company so paychecks are screwed up. I'm so fucking sick of these people. Track them down and hack them into tiny pieces, starting with each joint on each finger. Do it slowly and televise it live. Maybe then these fuckers will stop fucking with people's money. Do the same with people who prey on the elderly. I wish I had superpowers. I'd totally fuck those people up. Kudos to their company who paid everyone 40 hrs and then had everyone write down their OT so they could issue checks for that.
Touching Nature: Went from chilly-ish to warmish and heading back to chilly. Typical stupid NC weather. We did finally get some rain though. Fuck, we've been SO dry. Fucking dry. And no one likes fucking dry. That's what foreplay and lube is for, ffs.
Book News: I still have 6 reviews to write and 1 more book to read to reach my re-re-revised Goodreads Challenge of 65 books this year. The lowest amount since I've been keeping track in 2012. That is the absolutely most pitiful number for me and so depressing.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Not watching anything. Not even the Hurricanes since they were on the West Coast this past week and I was going to bed before they came on. Though I did watch them last night.
At the Flicks: Nope. Still need to see Eternals and now Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Cyberspace Playground: Nope.
Randomness:
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: The year is almost over. What the fuck? That's it. No wisdom, no nuggets. Just wondering why the older I get the faster time flies.

I can't believe the year is over. Also that Florida is 30 degrees warmer than NC. Too hot. Hey there should be pockets in all women's clothes! I hope you have a week which is more relaxed and a very happy holiday!
