Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: I've been lazing about this week, still recovering from my cold and a period that showed up after nearly 5 months without. The rule is you can say you're officially in menopause when you've gone 12 months without a period. Now I have to reset the clock. Ugh. Stupid fucking uterus. It's also hard to believe Nox is gone. Even with 7 other pets I'm still expecting to see her in her usual spots. :(

I'm doing this post on Saturday because I'm getting ready to save files on this dinosaur desktop and switch over to my new computer. You know. The one I mentioned I bought back in March. Of 2020. Oops. LOL I sure hope there aren't any problems with it. Pretty sure they won't take it back after this long. Anyway, I'm going to tidy the office while I'm at it. It's gotten out of hand. Eek.
I have a laptop in case anything goes wrong, but I don't have all my usual files saved to it. It's on my list of things to do, transferring my blog stuff to it. I guess I could actually use Google Cloud or whatever, but haven't set that up either. Eh. Whatever.

Touching Nature: Been a dreary week, mostly cloudy and a bit warm. Got about 2" of rain as of Saturday morning. Finally cooled down with the storm that rolled through.
Book News: I've got 4 books going and I need to read my BBNYA final round books. Eeek!
Don't Touch That Dial!: We finished Numb3rs and went back to our Star Wars watch. Well, rewatch for me and some of this is new for hubby. We're almost finished with season 7 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I've also been doing a rewatch of Criminal Minds during the day.

Randomness: That's cold. lol

ReplyDeleteI hope the computer transfer goes well. I waited months with the computer before this one but luckily everything went fine. I have my photos up to Shutterfly which is free. I have my desktop and wordprocessing and spreadsheets to Google drive. My big thing was my itunes with both music and audiobooks, so I finally got a cloud backup in idrive. I've really appreciated it.

Oh I cannot imagine buying a new computer and not setting it up the same day. HOWEVER, I have always purchased a new computer at the last possible moment. Last computer purchase, the old one would not turn on... Thankfully I use OneDrive to store all my files and have done for like 10 years. Anyway, I hope your transfer went well.
