Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: First, I want to wish Trip a Happy 21st Birthday! That was on Monday the 15th. Here's his cake. Don't worry if you don't know who that character is. I didn't know and now I can't remember. lol Probably a character from War Hammer though.
Ok, so let's see. What else happened this week? A whole lot of nothing really because of the rain. We did get my banner holder so we mounted that on the new mailbox post and hung my Summer banner. Yay! I'm still deciding what to do around the base. I'll probably just pile up some quartz rocks around it and call it a win. lol
Artemis had an ear infection so she got dropped off at the vet's, they gave her some drops, and she's good to go.
I did grocery shopping at BJ's and Food Lion, but I'm still doing the pick up at Walmart. I'm really getting tired of them not having pizza crust so I can make strombolis. WTF I did manage to finally get a box of taco shells and scored some spicy taco seasoning at Food Lion. It's about fucking time! My supply of disinfecting wipes (both in the big tub and the travel pack) and Lysol spray is getting dangerously low. Trip is schizoaffective and his anxiety means we're using them more than usual. I did get some before all this shit started, but the supply is running low. I don't understand why I can't find them anywhere. It's ridiculous.
We had the grandkiddos for a sleepover Friday to yesterday. They never want to go home. LOL Here is Trip and Kyleigh playing Xbox and grawpa using Boone as a pillow while he watches them play since he just had his turn.
Touching Nature: Rain, rain, and more rain. And cool for the most part. Thank goodness.
Book News: I've finished a couple and wrote a couple of reviews. I still have maybe 8 left to write. I'm also terrible at visiting blogs. Yeesh. I promise I'll get better at this balance thing soon.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Still on Perry Mason. One of these days we'll get back to Supernatural.
At the Flicks: Nope
Cyberspace Playground: Nope
Randomness:
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: I had a perfect wisdom nugget I thought of when I was in the laundry room this week but then I forgot what it was by the time I was done doing shit. Sorry.

And finally here's a foot update. It's 18 days since I did whatever it was to my foot. Bruising is nearly gone. Except for that bruise on top which appears to be the epicenter. There's a bump under it that hurts if I press on it, so I don't. lol

Ouch that should hurt still! And your grandkids are adorable. I hope you are staying safe.
ReplyDeleteThat's always a good sign that the grand kids want to stay! And yes your feet looks so much better!
ReplyDeleteYour foot still looks sore. I loved the rain and cool weather this week since HVAC is out. I need to figure out what to do with my mailbox because it's hard to mow around. A bunch of neighbors have a big bush growing around theirs but I think it looks stupid. Rocks or flowers seem better to me
ReplyDeleteTake care and stay well!

That foot looks like it hurts like a bitch!
ReplyDeleteWe've had no rain here in about 6 weeks. :(
