--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: Some things on hubby's former job front are cooking, just having to wait. I hate waiting. Kyle and I braved the DMV to get his permit renewed before he turned 19 in two weeks. If that happened he'd have to take the computer test again. So, we did it and it only took an hour (55 minutes of waiting, 5 minutes renewing). Woot! The permit is good for 18 months. That boy better practice and get his license well before then or else.

Touching Nature: Weather has been pretty nice. 50s at night and 70s/low 80s during the day. But it's creeping back up to the 90s. I hate Mother Nature. We need rain. I did get the mowing and some weeding done yesterday.

Book News: I still have 2 reviews to write and my reading has been so slow I'm almost going backwards. I have two long blog posts to draft and I'll do those up today. As for the rest? Who knows?

Don't Touch That Dial!: We have 2 episodes left of Mindhunter. Other than that we've been watching a lot of sports. It's that time of year. Baseball, football, and hockey converge. Soon we'll add basketball, just as baseball is winding down. I'm not a fan of basketball but I watch the Tar Heels with Trip.

At the Flicks: Nope. Trip and hubby are planning to see Rambo: Last Blood at some point soon.

Cyberspace Playground: Nope

Randomness: I seem to be craving a lot of cake lately.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: You can eat cake for breakfast when you are an adult. In fact, you can eat any damn thing you feel like eating at any damn time you feel like eating it.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

Getting a little worried my last two suggested purchases
aren't going to be purchased. *bites nails*

  1. You can have some of our rain! We had Tropical Storm Imelda this week and it was not good. I still need to start this season of Mindhunter.

  3. We need rain up here too!

I'm excited for you while at the same time aggravated for you, because you have to wait

  4. This week has not had much rain but a bit cooler weather but it is back to the upper 80s next. Boo. Still not much rain. I'm using it to space out the mowing a little. I need to pick a cooler day this week to do that and put a pile of sticks into my yard waste bin. I should probably water the garden again.

I'm not patient at waiting. I want to know as much as possible, as soon as possible for the best planning. lol I want the spring college schedule so I can look at when and what classes my daughter might take. Our schedule revolves around that schedule. Good luck! I hope you have a good week and find out good things. Happy reading.
