--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: It's August already? Well, shit. Where is this year going?!
Touching Nature: Alternating between hot and rain. I did not mow this week and that's something I'm probably going to regret.
Book News: I had 5 reviews to write. I wrote 2. Then Death of Darkness came in the mail and I didn't realize it was going to be a massive 500 page book. Sa-weet! So, I finished it and had 4 reviews to write. I managed to knock 1 out yesterday leaving me with 3. I hope to get at least 1 of those done today. Maybe more. We'll see.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Some Psych and some Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Also a little bit of the Cleveland Indians.
At the Flicks: None
Cyberspace Playground: None
Randomness:
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: You have one life (until science proves reincarnation exists), so live it the way you want. Well, don't murder, assault, rape, steal, or vandalize though because those things are just wrong on all levels. Also, don't dog-ear books. Or if you do, don't let me find out about it.

The randomness picture CRACKED ME UP!! 😂 😂 That was funny. I hadn't heard of Death of Darkness so I'll check it out!
ReplyDeleteGenesis @ Whispering Chapters
I thought it was hilarious so I'm sharing it everywhere. LOL
DeleteOh! You really need to read all the books in that series. It. Is. Awesome!
Thanks for your nugget of wisdom and good luck with Death of darkness!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! It was awesome!
DeleteWell shit indeed! That sums up my reaction to August too.
ReplyDeleteLOLOL
DeleteYeah, where did this year and especially this summer go?!
ReplyDeleteIKR?! Why is it, the older we get the faster the years fly by? It's not fair!
DeleteA quiet week for you. Are you liking the Knitting Vampire series? I loved it. Hopefully August is kinder to you than July was.
ReplyDeleteIt was sorta quiet. I had a couple appointments for the spawns, but other than that pretty uneventful. Thank goodness.
DeleteI am loving the books! They are light and easy to read (despite the murder aspect) and are just right after so many heavy books I've been reading lately.
I felt the same about August. Where did the summer go? And you sound like me with writing those reviews. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
I wrote 1 review yesterday. Yay! lol 2 to go, but maybe 3. I'm thinking of DNFing the current read.
DeleteLove your sense of humour!
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week
Thank you! :)
