In the beginning, this had all the earmarks of one major horror story and I thought I done fucked up with picking a monster porn read. And then…the tentacles showed up. Saved! These are tentacles of inky darkness, not your typical octopussy-type of ones. I’m not exactly sure wtf this thing was, but at first it was very horror movie before it started acting all humanish. Ugh. Just stick with the slam bang already. Anyway, it could use some additional editing due to weird POV issues, but otherwise this is a decent read. Plus, tentacles!
