--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!
Tomorrow is Cutie Kyleigh's 2nd birthday!! Hard to believe it's been two years already. Now, if baby brother Boone can wait at least a few more days to join the family, that would be awesome. :D

On the Home Front: So, I did some adulting and I did some reading and I don't have much to report. Except we're going to the movies and then Kyleigh's birthday party today. :D

Touching Nature: Cold then warmer, snow then sunny. I think Father Time needs to do a little sumtin sumtin with Mother Nature. Because that bitch needs a big O.

Book News: I drafted a bunch of posts, scheduled a bunch of posts, did some reading and wrote all but one review. Not too shabby. A bit behind on my Yearly Goodreads Challenge, but the books I've been reading have been much longer than my usual. But that's ok. Plenty of time left in the year.

Don't Touch That Dial!: A little bit of Buffy and a few episodes of Supernatural. That's it.

At the Flicks: Heading to see Deadpool today! Woot!

Cyberspace Playground: This because I find it funny and I like to come back and watch it occasionally. I would totally have watched a movie about them, like a cross between Grumpy Old Vampires and the Odd Couple. :D

Randomness: I do so love Calvin and Hobbes.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

From the library
I have the Calvin and Hobbes books, but a few of them are boxed up somewhere
in my massive stacks of boxes, so I had to get these from the library.

  1. Adulting sucks. I cannot believe Kyleigh will be two..were does the time go?!? Enjoy your week and try to avoid adulting.

  2. Calvin and Hobbes are the best, love them. I need to get some of those compilations. Spaceman Spiff and all that... and dEadpool seems to be quite popular, everyone is seeing it. Alas not me yet. Hope it's good, and your weather gets straight. We finally got some sun, and it was nice...

  5. Happy 2nd b-day to Kyleigh! I hope her party will be fun today :)
Calvin and Hobbes are so much fun! Any time I feel a bit overwhelmed, just one strip of Calvin and Hobbes, and I'm just laughing and feeling great once more :)
Good job on the scheduling and drafting of posts :)
Have a fantastic week ahead, and happy reading.

I love that Angel and Spike vid. I hadn’t seen it before. Ow.. and I really need to watch Angel again, I loved that series. Maybe I’ll try to watch an episode today.
    Have a good week!

  8. Happy birthday to Kyleigh! Here we had a cold and windy week, the water even froze a bit for a few days, rain yesterday and we have lots of wind today. I am ready for spring to get here by now. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

  9. I love Calvin and Hobbes too though it's become less funny because I can relate a little too well to the parents some days. I think I'll get back to loving them when the Tornado gets a bit bigger! I'm actually not behind on my Goodreads challenge but it's only because I put it pretty low thinking that would encourage me to read bigger books. So now I'm killing it on the challenge but my books aren't any bigger or more complex so I feel like I'm cheating. Happy birthday to Kyleigh! Hope the party is fantastic and that little brother is patient. Have a great week!
