AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!

I've been a bad girl and done very little reading and absolutely no review writing. My 15-yr-old ended up staying home all week with a low-grade fever and we watched mucho episodes of Angel. And by mucho, I mean the rest of Season 2 and all of Season 3 & 4. We have started Season 5 and are very happy because...Spike! With only a few episodes as exceptions we hated Season 4 and I'm totally tv show marathon hung over. So, yeah...no reviews were written. I am back to being behind 18 books in my Goodreads Challenge and I have 14 reviews to write. They'll get done. Eventually.

In other news, May is nearly over, there are 16 days of school left and only 22 days until my daughter graduates. Yeesh!

To wrap it all up...time flies too fucking fast! *nods emphatically*

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. Bonding and healing time is best spent in front of a tv with friends or family! I am currently marathoning Buffy although I'm getting slightly annoyed at it, probs cause I'm watching it non-stop! Also, 'Werewolves with Chocolate' sounds like an interesting read, will have to check back for that review! I hope your upcoming week is great!

    1. Oh, man, I remember marathoning Buffy back in Feb and March. Talk about a major hang over when I was done! lol And now we're almost done with Angel and it should have lasted until school was over and beyond because he typically only watches one episode in the morning before school. Oh, well. Except for him being sick, it was fun. :) Werewolves with Chocolate is a continuation of Werewolves in the Kitchen. Very nommy stuff! :D

  2. Aaaw, sorry you had a sick child but watching Angel together sounds good. Dang, you watched a lot! I feel better about being behind on my review writing though I haven't actually counted how many I have to write. I don't want to know. :D

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

You are entering into the best seasons of Angel :) The last two I believe are my favorite. Yes SPIKE!!! It was so good to have him back and so much fun!!!

I have about 4 reviews to get written but just haven't had the time, hoping next weekend I can do some serious writing and blogging since I will be home.

Have a great week! Happy Reading! ox

  7. I wouldn't worry about being behind 18 books in my Goodreads Challenge. Really it is all pretend anyway. Sorry you have a sick kid. But use it to your advantage to bond. I am just glad you are back reviewing again. :D
