AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!
I have been a bad bad blogger this past week. I haven't replied to posts or visited. I haven't read any books or written reviews. I've just had a very blah week which is unusual for me. I didn't feel like doing anything. I think part of that is because I was coming down with a cold. Another part was I knew we'd have to get the van repaired and found out it was not going to be an easy fix. Plus, when we were driving it to the shop the brake lights were out. We ended up needing a new circuit board for each side. So...depressing.
In other news, I did manage to come out victorious in Battle II of Leafageddon. There may be a Battle III, but that depends on how much is left to fall and whether it bugs me enough to blow them off the lawn. It takes a couple hours to do and I would really like a backpack blower, but our blower still works, so I'll put up with the sore shoulders. I'm actually quite impressed with our blower for lasting as long as it has considering we live in the woods and every Fall it gets quite the workout. I use it on the lawn a few times and hubby uses it on the roof at least once a week. He uses it in the Spring, too when the trees start sperming everywhere and making a big ol' mess. It's like a Mother Nature bukakke film.
To sum it up, I've had a shitty week, but hope to rally. I did manage to read 4 books yesterday and have 1 to go before tomorrow (1 for a tour, 4 to send off to InD'tale Magazine), but I still need to write up all the reviews for next week. With luck I'll get all that done today while doing laundry.
