In
Flesh Cartel 1: Capture, we met Mat and Dougie as they were kidnapped, tortured
and raped before being processed. Processed for what they have no idea. All
they know is that they don’t’ want to be separated.
In
Flesh Cartel 2: Auction the title should give a hint as to what is going to
happen. Dougie is abused by the guards, but because he has a butt plug locked
into place protecting his healing ass he can’t be raped as he was before. Mat
isn’t so lucky. In fact, he does his best to draw the abuse to himself trying
to protect his brother. After what seems like forever they are taken out of
their cells to be cleaned up and readied for auction. This isn’t going to end
well.
Once
again I found myself glued to the pages hoping against hope that Mat and Dougie
would find some way to get back at their captors only to be heartbroken again
and again over their treatment. Yet, still Mat soldiers on waiting, always
waiting to make his move while Dougie appears to be mostly broken. Even if they
escape would they be able to recover from their ordeal? Well, we won’t find out
in this book especially after we see the outrageous amount of money that
changes hands for the pretty boy Dougie and his brutish brother. I’m almost
afraid to read more about them, but, of course, I must find out what happens
and there are many episodes yet to go.
