In Winterspell everyone is magical. Ella has moved back home after a time in the human world. She’s living with her parents and working in their bakery, The Sugar Shack while she gets back on her feet. Having left because of her unusual magical ability freaking everyone in town out, she’s slowly reintegrating herself back into magical society. And helping out the hottie Orion on a few cases has helped. This time it involves mermaids and her ability plays a key part. This is a great magical mystery with danger, romance, and humor thrown in. I also enjoy seeing Ella grow in a way she didn’t get to when she was younger. Looking forward to more in this series.
