Happy Birthday to my Eldest Spawn, George.
It's so weird having a son older than my own 30 yrs.
Must be some kind of rip in the Space-Time Continuum. lol
On the Home Front: I'm so tired of everything. I need to make some changes. Big changes.
Touching Nature: Hot. Humid. Some rain, but little relief. I need to mow.
Book News: Made a bit of progress. Finished judging my round 1 excerpts of BBNYA2024, finished a book, and started another. Got halfway through it and hope to finish it today. I'm nearly done with an audiobook, too.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Still watching Burn Notice (season 4). I went back to my rewatch of Bones. I just watched S11:E10 The Doom in the Boom. Fans know which one this is. I haven't watched the last two episodes of Supernatural Season 5 yet. Maybe this week. I hate most of season 6 with Soulless Sam and their dumbass grandfather who I will always call Skinner from X-Files lol. Ugh Good thing I'm skipping episodes I don't like.
At the Flicks: Nope
Cyberspace Playground: Wordle, Word Lots, Crossword Jam, Solitaire, jigsaw puzzles
Randomness: Yeah. That would be a no.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: If something seems too good to be true you can bet it is. Also, there is no such thing as coincidence. If you find yourself saying, "Wow. That was convenient." it is almost surely staged/fake as fuck/not a coincidence.

I'm getting up early in these hot months. I walk the dogs and today I mowed half the lawn, all before the time I used to get up. July / August are always hot but this year is the worst. Stay cool!

I love the show, but there are just some episodes I don't want to watch again. Or again again. I've done a complete rewatch at least twice.

ReplyDeleteHe said he did yard work and got done right before it rained. lol It has finally cooled a bit here. Rain, sunny, rain, sunny, and still humid but no more heat index of 106º at least. Yuck.
