Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: Still going through something. I'll probably share some day. Right now, still could use good juju, prayers, posivibes, and good thoughts.

Had some grandkiddo birthdays: Kyleigh turned 10 on Feb 22nd (with everything going on I forgot to mention it) and Boone turned 8 on March 8th. My birthday on the 19th is next up.

Kyle had to work OT every day this week and Saturday. That meant getting up at 4:00am to take him to work. This year I need to get him behind the wheel to practice enough to drive himself to work. His inexperience and the fact he has to drive on the highway which is fucking crowded as fuck with shit drivers makes me want to keep driving him myself. But I can't. I need a job. Like, asap. Unless I can find a WFH job. That would be awesome.

Worked outside Weds, grocery pick up Thursday, did the cleaning Friday since Saturday's forecast was for rain all day. It did. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 50º but sunny. I'm hoping we can wash and vacuum all the vehicles. They are looooong overdue.

Touching Nature: Definitely Spring. We worked outside on Weds, cleaning up sticks and stuff in the back yard and burning some brush piles. Rained Saturday.

Book News: I finished some books and wrote a review or two. Also, The Write Reads will be announcing a US book tour Monday for Neem Tree Press titled Clytemnenstra's Bind. I'll swing back and add the sign up link when it's available for anyone interested. I'll also mention it on Twitter and my blog page.

Don't Touch That Dial!:  Still Lucifer, Bones, and Psych. I used to love Psych so much and now all I can think is: why is Shawn so fucking childish?

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Wordle, Word Lots, Crossword Jam, Solitaire, jigsaw puzzles

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Everything is shit. The end.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. We woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground and on the cars. Definitely not spring yet here.

  2. It's supposed to be more springlike this week but today and tomorrow are a cold strong north wind, even though it is sunny. I hope you get things improved. I also need to get my daughter driving for herself a bit. She can; she just prefers me to do it so now she is out of practice.

  3. Sending positive vibes and hoping things get better. I recall getting up at 2am, or 3 am to take Himself to work when the shifts weren't friendly and I needed the car. It was something of a chore, especially in the winter. I hope the coming week is a better one.
