This time, when
paranormal investigators Lacey Fitzgerald and Sam Firecloud are called out to
take care of a haunting, it’s Lacey that’s affected by the ghost. Sure, she’s
felt one or two over the years and even seen a few, but this ghost really knocks
her off her feet, metaphysically speaking. And the fallout may put her
relationship with Sam in danger.
This one knocked me for
a loop. Sometimes the past gets dredged up and it’s something that was dealt
with back then and you move on, again, or it was never really dealt with and
now you have to. In Lacey’s case, it’s the latter. This is more of a personal
journey for Lacey with Sam by her side than it is about the ghost. Though the
ghost is certainly important, too. Great story.
