From Goodreads:
In BRIEF LIVES, Delirium, youngest of the extended family known as The Endless, prevails upon her brother Dream to help find their missing sibling, Destruction. Their subsequent odyssey through the waking world, and their final confrontations with Destruction--as well as the resolution of Dream's painful relationship with his son, Orpheus--will change the Endless forever.

There are 9 chapters in this volume and they all concern Delirium’s search first for one of her siblings (Desire and Despair said no) to help her find their brother who left them 300 years ago and then, after she persuades Dream to help her, their journey to find Destruction. I’m not really sure what’s going on with some of the people they seek out, but I love this volume with its continuous & connected storyline. The artwork is mostly trippy and perfect for one centered around Delirium. I also love that the “lost” brother finally gets page time.
