Alice Shepard and Noah Thorpe have been
neighbors for years, each ignoring their attraction to the other. But when
Alice’s sister’s wedding to her ex boyfriend’s brother comes up she doesn’t want
her ex to think she hasn’t gotten over him, so she decides to ask her sexy
neighbor to be her fake date. What better way to prove to the lying cheating
bastard that she’s moved on is to have some serious eye candy on her arm,
right? Does it matter that Noah is a vampire? Hmmm… Anyway, Noah needs to get
out of town for a little while, so he agrees to the outrageous plan. Neither
one realizes how much this silly plan would change their lives.
The Good
Lighthearted, fun and so very steamy. Noah is
awesome! Secondary characters are pretty good. And whoa…Kane. *shivers*
The Bad
Kinda dumb in parts, a bit clichéd in others and
Alice starts out as a total wimp.
The Conclusion
An entertaining read for when you don’t want to
take a book too seriously, but you also want some nommy sexual tension.
