Akshay is royalty of the earth djinns and Maya
is royalty for the water djinns. Their people have been warring for a long
time, but when they separately go to Earth (Akshay to honor his fallen best
friend, Maya to get laid) they end up with each other. Except they are strangers
with no idea they are enemies back in their realm. What follows is danger and
forbidden love.
The story and character development suffer from
being too short for such a rich world, but it’s enjoyable nonetheless.
Insta-love is a bit of a turn off, but the insta-lust is hot and steamy. The
plot is a slightly twisty, but falls short in the villain department. Overall
though this is a quick interesting read that has some yummy sex scenes.
