My Rating ~ 4 bites and a nibble

So, this is how the world ends. With thunderous laughter.

This is an apocalyptic tale to end all apocalyptic tales. Horrifying, nerve-wracking, goose pimple inducing, hair-raising, fingernail biting, and nipple puckering (but not in a good way), you’ll want to put the book down and walk away, but you can’t. You just…can’t. Told from several POVs this tale pulls many perspectives together to form one master picture and it’s not Dogs Playing Poker. Oh, no. It’s so much worse than that. Well-written and petrifying, Jeff Brackett pulls off a horror novel to chill even the most jaded of bones. If you’re a horror fan this is one you won’t want to miss.

  1. Okay, so I am not a huge fan of apocalyptic tales but you have me really curious over this one. :)

    1. It's...horrifying. *shudders* But in a good way. lol

  2. Okay, you sold me! And how could I resist that title. This is right up my alley.
