Well, that was interesting. Odd, creative and decently written, but I just can’t get past the bark and sap and scratchy tree bits. *shudder* Plus, how the hell does this tree fuck her 12 ways to Sunday and not break a single ornament?

Margaret is a moron. A rich moron, but a moron nonetheless. And yet she gets rewarded with yummy tentacles doing naughty things to her.

There’s a lot of blah, blah, blah at the beginning of this story and not a whole lot of monstery tentacle sex. There are more books in the series so maybe there’s much more down and dirty with the tentacles in the next books.  It’s not horribly written and even though Margaret is an idiot who saddled herself with a loser of a husband she somehow ends up on top and served with a side order of cliché.  I kinda like the lighthouse though. I’d totally live there as long as it had internet.

Aw. This is plain ol’ monster on monster porn. I didn’t realize there’s no humans involved. Oh, well. It’s still a decent read. Well-written and much naughty. Also, an interesting concept for a society. Communal breeding with extensive records for best genetic diversity isn’t thought of as unusual, weird or wrong. It’s all in a day’s work and it looks like they enjoy it. Well, who wouldn’t enjoy the procreation process? Except for all the fluids everywhere. I’m not big on mess. Ick.
