AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!

I've had a quiet week with just reading, reading and more reading. My shelf additions are light this week because I've been busy reading. And not writing reviews. *cough* So this upcoming week I will need to get caught up on review writing, finish some books, start some others and pick out my February Monster Porn Monday books.

In other news, it's 8:30 pm on a Saturday night and I'm beat. Not entirely sure why I'm so tired, but it could have something to do with staying up past my bedtime last night to read a book. I have found that if I stick fairly close to a regular bed and wake up time I'm not tired during the day. I need to adhere to that better no matter how good a book is. After all, it'll still be there in the morning, right? Right?!

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. I am curious about Act of Mercy.

I am also guilty of staying up late to read a book that I can't seem to put down. And I pay the next day.

Enjoy your week, and thanks for sharing. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  4. Another Star Trek on NetGalley? And you're only NOW telling me? *glares*

Reading is a good way to spend the week, nothing wrong with it. :)

I try, and fail miserably, to stick to a consistent wake up and bedtime. Good luck to you!

  5. My husband goes to be early since he wakes up at 4am to go to work so I snuggle on the couch with my pillows and read until I fall asleep. Sometimes I am reading WAY past my bed time but sometimes you just can't help it :)

I am a bit behind but I am hoping to get back into it this week. I just started to write reviews as I finish book or at least make notes seems to be working for me for now until I stop doing it and get cluttered with unwritten reviews again lol

    Have a great week Carol!

  7. The late night reads can be killer! I know you're right, the book will be there - but what if it's not?!? I mean, things happen while we sleep right? Yeah, I'm not helping - but I've never been good at putting a book done just because I Need to sleep. I mean, what's more important? LOL And yay for February Monster Porn ;) Have a great week Carol - good luck review writing!

  9. I love the old Godzilla movies. It would be fun to read some stories too!

I've been reading like crazy and this weekend I stayed up late both nights reading. I don't sleep in so by today I was kind of slushy. LOL
