AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!

I have been busy reading in an effort to stay caught up with my 99¢ Challenge and I'm losing the battle. I think I will throw in the towel and start on my October books because the stress is starting to get me down. I have two tours this week and I have those done, but the 99¢ books are progressively getting longer, for the most part, and I just won't have them done in time. I have the schedule up anyway in case I do manage to get some done or I may double up once I get some of my October books done. In any case, I will read them, just not as I had planned. Oh, well. Life happens.

In other news, my daughter's birthday was yesterday. 17 yrs old! Where does the time go?! Since she is a huge Supernatural fan I posted this on her Facebook wall. :)

I have been putting off submitting an application to the Sheetz Distribution Center as I was going to create a new resume, but I have decided I'll just do their online application. I have no interview clothes though and no money to buy any. And did I mention I haven't had a job in a very long time? Then, should I manage to get hired, I have no idea how we'll manage the logistics of the hours involved. My daughter would need to get her license and we'd need a third car, so she could take herself and the boys to school on the days I would be working. Ah, well. We'll see how it goes.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  3. Congrats with your daughter's birthday. I haven't watched Supernatural, but it seems like a fun thing to post on her wall.

Job searching is the bane of ym existence, I am so glad I took a break from it and am now focussing on Lola's Blog Tours for a while. It can be such a frustrating process, I hope you'll find something!
I hope you'll enjoy your new books!

    1. Thank you! She'll be off to college next year. She's a Senior in high school this year. I'm guessing that's the equivalent of A's? :)

  9. Happy birthday to your daughter! Mine is 17 as well though not for too much longer! It's a fun age though hard to believe they're so close to going off to school and stuff! I can see how the challenge would get overwhelming. I'm kind of afraid to do anything that doesn't involve review books because I just ave so many of those. Good luck with the job hunt and all that! Have you tried thrift stores for interview clothing? It's amazing the stuff you can find. I swear I dress better since I started shopping in thrift stores than I did when I practically lived at Ann Taylor! Have a great week!

    1. Thank you! It's hard to believe the kids are so grown. My oldest is 29! When the hell did that happen?! LOL I have tons of review books, too. I need to get moving on those. I've looked around thrift stores for clothes and only found some jammies. Maybe I need to try harder looking for that job working from home. lol
