AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!
School starts tomorrow. They kids may not be very happy about it, but for me...there will be much rejoicing.
School starts tomorrow. They kids may not be very happy about it, but for me...there will be much rejoicing.
Because school is starting tomorrow I've been busy getting things ready for the momentous day. This means I did not have as much of an issue with grabby hands this week in regards to shelf additions as you will observe below. Believe me, this is a good thing.
In addition, I want to thank the lovely Anna from Herding Cats & Burning Soup for the handy jump break post. I never even thought about how other bloggers do that! *smacks forehead* I've inserted some into past posts and future drafts, but I think I need to reconfigure how I do my posts, so the jump break makes more sense. That will be a good Fall brainstorming for me, I think. In the meantime, I'll leave it alone.
Since we went out to dinner and visited with friends last night, my day is way, way, waaaaay behind. I cannot stay up late anymore without it totally messin' with my schedule the next day. Luckily, I had nothing going on other than some laundry. And we had a great time, too! :D
In other news...I got nothin'. This has been my week. Busy for me, but most likely completely boring to anyone else. lol
That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

Busy weeks are definitely good for smaller book hauls :) I love the jump break and use it often, so handy. Now go relax and read!
ReplyDeleteI know that's true! lol I did relax some and got some reading in. *whew* :)
DeleteLOL yay for school starting back up! I don't have kids but live in a VERY kid friendly neighborhood and whew boy I'm ready for school to start. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the shout out for my post <3 That was awesome of ya.
I think that's worse sometimes, having a neighborhood full of kids. lol
DeleteYou're very welcome! I'm just too tickled about knowing how to do it. lol
Don't you just love Jim Butcher's books? It looks like you are farther in the series than I am but I am hoping to catch up sooner rather than later. My kids started school this past week....let the homework craziness begin :) I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI do, we do! :) I'm hoping they get their schedules all straightened out. Our school is really mismanaged, imho. Grrr!
DeleteThanks and you, too! :)
Yay for school starting! The kids may complain but I bet they're happier getting settled into routines. I know mine are! Great books this week! I really enjoyed the one Dare book I read and just the title alone on Penny Dreadful grabs me. Have a great (and peaceful) week!
ReplyDeleteThey aren't happy yet, but they aren't miserable. lol Thanks and I hope you have one, too. :)
DeleteYay for school starting, I can relate - here, it will be next tuesday ! Enjoy your books and have a great week ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's been quiet around the house. lol
