Hello and Happy Sunday!
Cutie Kyleigh is coming today and we'll be babysitting, so I need to finish up this post and get some things done. First though, here's a recent pic of our sugarplum, now 5 months old. Growin' like a weed!

So, Anna's Senior portraits were this week and those weren't stressful. At all. *rolls eyes* First there was shopping then last minute shopping and an emergency bang trim before spending 2 hours at the school for said portraits. Glad I took Stargate (my Paperwhite) with me, but I was starving by the time she was done since I hadn't thought to eat that morning. Proofs will be back in 2 weeks. I think they'll be wonderful, she's not so sure. The proof will be in the pudding.
We continue to watch Supernatural and have started Season 8 which means we have 21 more episodes before we have no more to watch since Netflix does not have Season 9 yet. I've been drafting my August posts and writing up reviews. My August calendar is coming along nicely and I should have it filled out by the end of this week. Assuming, of course, that I quit procrastinating on the review writing. I have 13 to write, down from 18, so that's progress. I also have 7 more books I need for my 99¢ September Challenge. I'm trying to fill out the month with some mystery, thriller, suspense or sci-fi, so if you have any recs please pass them along in the comments.
In other news...huh. There really isn't much other news.

She is adorable and growing up so fast! We are also waiting on Season 9 of Supernatural. I wish netflix got them faster. I do hope it comes out soon and not when the next season starts.

I couldn't settle on a name and hubby suggested Stargate. It has stuck so far. lol I named my Fire Portal though and I doubt I'll ever change that. :)

I haven't started Supernatural yet but I'm looking forward to it. I love that you named your Paperwhite. I love mine enough that I should name mine. I got lucky with senior pictures. Emma just wanted the formal yearbook pic and she drove herself to the appointment so I didn't have to participate at all except for actually buying them. It was nice! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWait at least until Season 9 is out. lol We love the show. It's not perfect. Sometimes the unanswered questions drive us crazy (and believe me, we talk about it a lot lol), but the humor sprinkled throughout is a great balance to the dark stuff.

Anna wanted the outfit changes and then when we got there we realized she could have 3 instead of 2. Oh, well. I wasn't going home to get another outfit. lol Thanks! :)

ReplyDeleteI never actually watched Supernatural but I'm watching Charmed right now (season 2/episode19) and when I finish that series I will watch Supernatural for sure. ^^
