AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday! We are thawing out here in NC after getting a decent snowfall. I guess my taunting and triple dog daring of Mother Nature on Facebook got some results. It sure was pretty to see after being without for so long though we could have done without the freezing rain on top of it. The kids have really enjoyed it and the 3 days off from school. Speaking of which, they will have to make up, but they don't care. Yeah. They don't care...At.The.Moment. LOL

Grandbaby countdown is in earnest as the Dr. has mentioned inducing at 39 weeks which is this coming Friday! We'll see how this week goes. *excited jiggling*

In other news, I am taking a little break and rearranging some things on the blog so I can rest a bit. The 34 books in January and the 17 books so far this month have me feeling a tad burnt out since I have very little queued up ahead of time. I'm hoping to finish all my books for the last week of Feb this week because March is going to be a very busy month. Speaking of March, I plan on doing the Indies of March, so be prepared for 17 days of Indie Authors starting March 15th.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. I heard North Carolina got some snow and ice. We've still got some very wet snow here in Maryland. It was quite a storm for lots of people. You've had a busy couple of months! I especially like the books you got from the 50 cent cart! Have fun reading!

    1. I love checking the 50¢ cart. I never know what will be on it. :) The snow is melting away except where the sun doesn't hit it and I'm sure that will be gone this week since we're supposed to get up to the 60s. Yeesh. Thanks!

  2. NJ got quite a bit of now. We are so tired of it, since monday I would guess we had about 20 inches of snow and we had an ice storm last. Winter is kicking out butts this year :)

I have been rather slow reading the last two months I am hoping the Clean out your e-reader challenge in March kick starts me into reading a lot more. I tend to read more in the summer.
    Amazing Haul!

    Happy Reading

I'm thinking of doing the COYER next year. I have too much going on this year to jump on that wagon now. Good luck! :)

  7. Snow and then freezing rain? Yikes. We caught a little break this week, got a few more inches of snow but not like before. Still cold though. I see you're listening to Dresden on audio, maybe I should try that. I started the first book and got sidetracked, maybe audio would help me get moving on the series.

Underdead with a Vengeance looks fun!

We like the audios though I've heard better narrators. Marsters isn't awful though and I have to say he is getting better with each book.

It does! I enjoyed book 1 and I have book 2, so I'll be doing a Two for Tuesday in April with them. I'm looking forward to it. :)

I have and it's making me nervous. I don't want to jinx myself, so I'll just be happy with being so far ahead of my goal this year. *zips lips*

  11. Granbaby countdown must be so exciting!
Whenever I have a few big hauls, I feel the need to cut back a bit too for a while as otherwise it becomes pressure instead of pleasure. Nice haul, lots of romance, very appropriate for the week that's in it! Enjoy :)

I always think I am a great reader and then I read something like that and I am like.. hummm.. maybe I should be reading right now and not blogging. LOL! How fun that your grandbaby is coming. I hope that you will live close to them. I don't live close to family and miss them all the time. I've always been interested in Men are from Mars, Women are fro Venus. I look forward to your review on that book!!

They'll be living not too far away, so regular visits should be no problem.

  22. I'm so glad it's getting warmer here...finally! So sick of snow and ice. The cover of Grimm Consequences totally confuses me...why would you carry your gun on your butt? Isn't that uncomfortable? LOL, anyway. I hope you enjoy your new reads and that all is well with the grandbaby!!
