Lord
Sevin Satyr owns the Salone di Passione
where those of ElseWorld can go to slake their passions with others of
ElseWorld origin. The Salone has been
enormously successful, but now humans know that beings from ElseWorld walk
among them and they react in a not very nice manner. Will Sevin be able to keep
his business flourishing and his employees and patrons safe and sated in these
dangerous times?
Alex
Patrizzi’s family did terrible, horrible, unimaginable things to Lucien Satyr
and others of ElseWorld, but Alex wasn’t aware of any of it. She is hated by
the Satyrs until Calling Night when Sevin uses his gift to see into her and
learns she is innocent. The two are fated to be together, but can the past be
overcome?
Lucien
is a broken man. Tortured and used as a sex slave from a young age, now that he
is free his brothers fear he will allow himself to die one Calling Night, so
Sevin makes sure he is always with him. They don’t want to lose him now that
they have him back. But Lucien is full of anger and pain. After he kills all of
those responsible for his imprisonment and torture he doesn’t care if he lives. Until he meets Natalia in ElseWorld.
Natalia
is a healer and she’s just what Lucien needs. But will Lucien, who can’t bear
to be touched, allow her to heal not only his heart, but his soul?
I
have loved all of the Lords of Satyr
books and I’m sad this one is the last. While the story and writing were just
as good as the previous ones, this book seemed a bit rushed. It didn’t take
away from either Sevin’s or Luc’s stories though and I enjoyed it very much. I
look forward to seeing what Elizabeth Amber dreams up next.
