AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!

Big news! We're going to be grandparents again.
Estimated due date March 2, 2016.
Kyleigh will be a big sister. :)

On the Home Front: Not a whole lot going on other than dicking around with our POS van. Trying to get the "Service Engine Soon" light to go out long enough to get it inspected so we can get our new sticker. The plate expires Fri. I hate that van. I truly do. But we're stuck with it for the next 2 years. *growls and grumbles* On the plus side, hubby & I replaced the water pressure switch under the house yesterday. I totally do not like crawling around under there, but other than that it was relatively easy. *fingers crossed* that switch will last us many years to come. Also, I completely forgot to share the project my hubby and youngest son worked on 2 weeks ago. Bad me! It's a shoe holder/bench made entirely from scrap pallets. :)

Touching Nature: We finally had a few days in a row with no rain, so I burned the brush we cleared from Fangorn Forest about a month ago. Also cleaned up around the firepit so we could have a bonfire last night. Too bad it was cloudy or we could have star gazed.

Book News: I am still caught up on reviews. This is starting to be a regular habit. I still sit here and think I need to do something and then remember, oh yeah! I already wrote that review. Booyah! I've nearly got August all scheduled. I'm in shock. LOL

Don't Touch That Dial!: Hubby & I have almost got CSI:Miami wrapped up. With luck we can wrap it up some time today. I believe we will be starting NCIS.

At the Flicks: Going to see Ant-Man has been postponed. Hopefully we'll see that soon.

Randomness:

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

    1. Thank you! As long as I'm not the one having the wee one. I'm too old for that and our youngest is in high school now. LOL

    1. My mom loves NCIS. She keeps asking if we've watched it yet, but up until recently we had no way to do so. Yay for Netlfix finally getting it. :D

  7. I just started rewatching NCIS on Netflix! I love that show and had forgotten how much I liked Kate's character. Glad you got the switch replaced. I can deal with no electricity and all kind of other things but threaten my water supply and water heater and I'm NOT happy. I will keep my fingers crossed about the light. Have a great week and congratulations!!

    1. I can't wait to start it. It seems like I've been waiting *forever* for Netflix to pick it up. I'm not happy when there's no electricity. Of course, we have a well, so when the electricity is out, so is the water, but with no electricity there can be no internet. *gasp* The horror! lol

Van is now fixed and passed inspection. Yay!

Well, I still have MPM to do and a few others, but yeah most of it is done. nanner nanner lol

Fan is fixed and passed inspection and so far so good with the switch. *wipes forehead* Ewww! I hate new car shopping. Well, ok, I won't hate shopping to replace the van (eventually, in like 2 years), but usually I hate car shopping. lol

I'm hoping soon to also <3 NCIS. :D

  10. Congrats on the new addition! How wonderful! Ant-Man was really, really good! I hope you guys like it. I understand the feeling about being caught up. I spent all last week reading and reviewing August ARCs, and I'm almost done. I'm so happy, because I go back to work soon, so that's a load off my mind. We'll see how well I do once I'm working. Have a great week!

    1. Thanks! :) And hey, they're free. You can read them and write just a couple sentence review instead of a detailed one. Micro Reviews. I'm gonna start doing that!
