--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: A little late but there's a pic of the new grandkiddo. Oliver Kol. Sorry for the blurriness. Hubby isn't the greatest picture taker. lol He is 3 weeks old as of yesterday.

On Wednesday we had the older grandkiddos for a sleepover for the first time since the beginning of March. Thursday morning they looked like tiny passed out party guests.

I may have said this before, but hubby has been back to work part-time and they have many protocols in place at the club, so while I'm not totally happy that they are back to work yet, at least they are being overly cautious. I prefer over cautious over the shit going on out there now. People shopping as if everything is back to normal when it SO is NOT. Damn, Americans are entitled whinyass shitholes. WTF. I continue to stay home as often as possible and I'm using the Walmart pick up every week. For the most part it's worked very well. Though I have no idea why some things are still out of stock after weeks and weeks. Like taco shells. WTF are people doing with all the fucking taco shells?! GRRRR!

Anyway, that's it for me this week. I'm going to go prop my foot up some more. Oh, yeah, it's better but the bruising has been seriously impressive. I've been taking a photo each day to document it. Kinda fascinating. lol

Touching Nature: Hot, hot, and humid. Rain. Nope, still humid. Rain again. Ahhhh. That's more like it.

Book News: I have 8 reviews to write. Been binging while forced to sit and prop my foot up.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Perry Mason on DVD still. And I managed some episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Nope

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Be aware and stay safe. COVID isn't done with us yet.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  2. We aren't changing; we just stay home. Get deliveries or drive-thru pickup. We wear masks when we have to leave the house. Great photos!! Also the weather is gorgeous this weekend with the north breeze, and next up 5 days of rain.

    Happy reading and stay well!

  6. Awe, the new grand is adorable. I am glad you are being cautious. We are doing the same, a dinner out could prove to be very costly.
